Cookies
This explains the cookies and similar storage OtherMind uses on this website, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies, and similar technologies like local storage, are small pieces of data a website keeps in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others are optional and only used with your permission.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work and can’t be switched off. They don’t track you across sites.
| Name | Purpose | Stored | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| om-theme | Remembers your light or dark theme | Local storage | Until cleared |
| om-cookie-consent-v1 | Remembers your cookie choice | Local storage | 12 months |
| om-*-ui | Remembers UI state, e.g. a form isn’t submitted twice | Local storage | Session |
Analytics (optional)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd, to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit and where they get stuck — so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and we ask Google to anonymise IP addresses. These cookies only load after you accept them, and never if you don’t.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years | |
| _ga_<id> | Maintains session state for GA4 | 2 years |
Google may process this data outside the UK. You can read how Google handles it in their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Managing your choice
When you first visit, you can accept or reject analytics cookies. We’ll remember your choice for 12 months, then ask again. You can change your mind any time using the button below, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working properly.
